Angus Ross works mainly to commission for private collectors, museums, galleries, and curches all over the UK.

A key consideration in his design is the interaction with his work. It should be appropriate for its situation, function well, be comfortable to use, be beautiful to look at and age gracefully - altogether a pleasurable experience. He is inspired by structure and the structural - mechanisms, architecture, kites and boats - with an aspiration to clean flowing lines.

Ross is a member of Design Nation, current chairman of the Scottish Furniture Makers Association and is supported by The Scottish Arts Council.
